The calculator on this page computes level monthly payments only. Interest-only payments and draws are worked by hand here with invented figures, and a fill-in worksheet lists the numbers to collect from a line offer.
Line of credit payment worksheet for Jeffersonville, IN physician offices
A line can call for interest-only payments while the balance is out, and that case is simple enough to do on paper: balance × annual rate ÷ 12.
Illustration only, invented figures: a physician office has $45,000 drawn at an annual rate of 10.5%. One month of interest-only is $45,000 × 0.105 ÷ 12 = $393.75, and six such months total $2,362.50 without touching the principal.
| Line | Interest-only | Fixed over 36 months |
|---|---|---|
| Balance | $45,000 | $45,000 |
| Rate (annual %) | 10.5% | 10.5% |
| Monthly payment | $393.75 | $1,462.61 |
| Balance after the payments | $45,000 still owed | $0 |
| Interest over 36 months | $14,175.00 | $7,653.96 |
The fixed column is the case the calculator on this page handles. Put $45,000 in the amount box, 10.5 in the rate box and 36 in the months box: the result panel reads $1,462.61 monthly, $7,653.96 of interest, and $52,653.96 as the total repaid.
Commercial line of credit worksheet for Jeffersonville, IN sit-down restaurants
Before comparing two line offers, a sit-down restaurant can fill in one column per offer. The worksheet does not need the calculator; it needs the offer letter. Clinics and contractor crews can use the same columns.
| Row | Where the number comes from |
|---|---|
| Credit limit | The offer letter |
| Amount the kitchen expects to draw first | The purchase or payroll gap it covers |
| Rate (annual %) | The offer letter; note whether it is fixed or variable |
| How long a draw stays out | The owner’s estimate, in days or months |
| Payment type during the draw period | Interest-only, or a fixed share of the balance |
| Fees: annual, draw, or unused-limit | The agreement, line by line |
| Maturity or renewal date | The agreement |
Interest on a draw = amount × annual rate × days out ÷ 365, or ÷ 12 for a month. Fees are added after that. That one line of math, filled from the worksheet, is the honest cost of a draw.
Restaurant line of credit draws worked by hand for Jeffersonville, IN kitchens
Illustration only, invented figures: a Jeffersonville, IN kitchen with a $20,000 limit at an annual rate of 12.25% uses the line for five months. Interest here is the balance held through each month × 0.1225 ÷ 12.
| Month | What happens | Balance held | Interest |
|---|---|---|---|
| Month 1 | Draws $10,000 for a walk-in freezer repair and produce | $10,000 | $102.08 |
| Month 2 | Draws $6,000 more for payroll in a slower week | $16,000 | $163.33 |
| Month 3 | Pays down $7,000 from card deposits | $9,000 | $91.88 |
| Month 4 | Pays down $5,000 | $4,000 | $40.83 |
| Month 5 | Pays the last $4,000 | $0 | $0.00 |
Five months of interest add to $398.12. The calculator would get this wrong, because the balance never sits still long enough for a level payment to describe it; that is why the draws are worked by hand.

Credit union business loan calculator for Jeffersonville, IN chiropractic and therapy offices
A quote from a credit union, a bank or another source can be checked the same way if it is a fixed-payment term loan: same amount, same rate, same months, same payment. If the numbers disagree, ask the source why.
Illustration only, invented figures: a chiropractic office holds a quote for $32,000 at an annual rate of 10.25% over 48 months. Typing $32,000, 10.25 and 48 into the calculator on this page returns $815.45 a month, $7,141.60 of total interest and $39,141.60 repaid. If the quote shows a higher payment, fees are the first place to look.
The calculator is arithmetic only. It runs in the browser, includes no fees, and says nothing about whether a partner would make that offer.
